New Hip Hop-Jazz Album! Click on headline to listen and purchase!
An unequivocal hip hop album that integrates profoundly positive freestyles with elements of jazz, funk, and world percussion. Throughout the album, Emmy® Award Winners & Multi-Latin GRAMMY® Award Nominees, José Valentino [saxophone, producer] & Eduardo "Gualo" Jaramillo [producer, guitar] team up to create fresh beats that feature improvisational saxophone and on-the-spot lyricism by Tampa Bay-based rapper-spoken word artist-author, El.G.Nie. El G.Nie raps about meaningful issues such as the struggles of the human conditions, faith in God in the midst of turmoil, gratitude, and the restoration of personal identity. Guest appearance by Latin GRAMMY® Award Nominated conga player & engineer, Jessie Romero on "Slick & Saucy" and "Still Strong." The interlude was captured with a phone camera (hence, the low-quality audio) and features José Valentino freestyling live in Hideaway Cafe with the Christie Lenee Band; Christie Lenee is the 2017 International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion and long-time friend of Jose Valentino.
The album's additional producers include Tito Ruiz (José Valentino's father & mastermind behind all of Valentino's albums) and Jean-Paul Wright.
Recording Engineering by Dayve Stewart at Maximum Entertainment Studios in Orlando, FL. Mixing/Editing by Robert Acevedo Jr. & José Valentino. Mastering by Bruno Miranda.
